About Miriam Lightfoot

Miriam Lightfoot is an academic coordinator and data analyst at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and a former high-school science teacher. She holds degrees in biology, chemistry and science education from the University of Kentucky. Her Unusual Crime Solvers series applies her education background to mysteries that give developing readers an active purpose for reading through clues, questions and problem-solving. The Paris Puzzle is the first case in the series, featuring Siamese cats Minky and Lala.
