About Cherrymoon

A Central Kentucky creative studio helping people turn ideas into finished things.

Cherrymoon Media is an independent creative studio based in Lexington, Kentucky. We publish books, build websites and digital projects, support independent music releases, produce visual content, and help shape ideas that do not always fit neatly into one category.

The work changes from project to project. The approach does not: understand what someone is trying to make, find the clearest way forward, and stay closely involved until it exists in the real world.

Publishing roots. A broader creative home.

Cherrymoon was founded by Adam Turner in 2016, following several years working in Kentucky publishing and digital media with author and publisher Don McNay at RRP International.

That experience became the foundation for Cherrymoon: hands-on publishing, direct collaboration with authors, practical problem-solving, and an understanding that making something good usually requires more than one discipline.

Books led to websites. Websites led to design, video, music, digital products, and all kinds of creative side roads.

What began primarily as a publishing company gradually became something broader: a home for creative work across media.

Personal by design.

Cherrymoon is intentionally small and hands-on.

You are not passed through departments or dropped into a standardized process. Projects are built around what they actually need. Some clients arrive with little more than an idea. Others need one missing piece—design, production, publishing guidance, a website, a launch plan, or help getting something across the finish line.

The goal is not to sell the biggest possible package. It is to understand the project well enough to know what will genuinely help.

That means honest guidance, direct communication, room to experiment, and a process where the person making the work remains part of it.

Meet Adam Turner

Cherrymoon is founded and led by Adam Turner, a Kentucky-based publishing, marketing, and media professional whose work has moved between books, music, digital projects, design, video, and storytelling for more than a decade.

His background in publishing and communications shaped Cherrymoon into the kind of creative company he wanted to work with himself: informal without being careless, ambitious without unnecessary pretense, and capable of moving between creative and technical work when a project demands it.

Adam remains directly involved in Cherrymoon projects, from the first conversation through the details that turn an idea into something tangible.

The work—and the stories behind it.

Over the years, Cherrymoon has accumulated more than finished products.

There are drafts, photographs, videos, designs, experiments, recordings, abandoned ideas, strange detours, collaborations, and moments that explain how the work came together.

The Cherrymoon Archive preserves those stories.

The public portfolio shows what was made. The Archive shows some of what happened along the way.

What are you making?

Some projects need the whole process. Others need one missing piece.

Either way, if you have something you want to make real, we would like to hear about it.
