Adam Turner

Adam Turner founded Cherrymoon Media in 2016 after several years working in publishing, journalism, communications, and digital media in Kentucky. His work has since moved between books, websites, marketing, music releases, photography, video, design, and the occasional project that does not fit neatly into any of those categories.

A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University’s communication and honors programs, Turner studied broadcasting and electronic media with a minor in English and graduated summa cum laude. While at EKU, he served as Features Editor of The Eastern Progress, earning recognition for feature writing and journalism.

His publishing career grew out of his work with author and publisher Don McNay at RRP International Publishing & Digital Media. Turner eventually directed the company’s publishing and digital work, helping develop books and projects alongside McNay. After McNay’s death in 2016, Turner carried much of what he had learned from that experience into the creation of Cherrymoon Media. RRP’s publishing catalog later became part of Cherrymoon’s own history.

Cherrymoon began primarily as a publishing company and gradually expanded as clients needed other things: websites, design, promotional materials, video, music support, digital projects, and help connecting all of those pieces. Turner remains directly involved in the work, usually from the first conversation through the final details.

Alongside Cherrymoon, Turner has worked professionally in marketing, publishing, journalism, digital media, and communications. His background ranges from directing publishing projects and building websites to developing campaigns, writing copy, producing creative work, and helping organizations present themselves clearly to the public.

Outside of client work, his interests have long revolved around film, music, writing, and assorted creative experiments—which is probably why Cherrymoon has never stayed inside a single category for very long.
