About Mike Diccicco

Mike Diccicco graduated from La Salle College with a degree in English and spent more than four decades in advertising before turning his attention to fiction. His debut novel, Beyond All Sense and Reason, draws on memories of growing up in Birmingham during the Civil Rights era and explores interracial friendship amid the city’s tensions of 1963. His related short story “The Bus Rider” earned fifth prize among thousands of entries in a national Writer’s Digest competition.
