About Laura Babbage

Laura Babbage is a registered nurse, healthcare leader and chaplain whose career has included executive healthcare roles and hospital chaplaincy. She co-authored Life Lessons from Cancer with her brother-in-law Keen Babbage after serving as his caregiver during treatment for a rare nasal cancer, documenting the patient and caregiver experience as it unfolded. An Eastern Kentucky University graduate, she also holds graduate degrees in international business and divinity and currently serves on EKU’s Board of Regents, where she was elected board secretary in 2026.
