2013–2015
Origins
November 14, 2013Wicked Peace formed
Wicked Peace formed when Tanner Blevins and Patrick Brumback met at Morehead State, with Amanda Turner joining on vocals and songwriting. The band announced itself on November 14, 2013 with a video cover of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues.” The DIY recordings collected as Conclusions followed before the first official EP, Growing Pain.

Finding the Band
The Edge was recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville. A run of singles from Lexington’s Shangri-La Studio followed as the lineup and the band’s sound came into focus.

Butchwood
With Matthew Holleran on percussion and Jared Davis on bass, Wicked Peace built its own production home at Butchwood Studio. The era produced EPs, standalone singles, a live recording, Rock N Roll Racecar and the self-titled Wicked Peace album.

Looking Back
Christmas Party (Where Is Pat?), Wicked Pieces and Still Wicked After All These Years turned the catalog back on itself. JADE gathered Amanda’s Wicked Peace songs with selected solo material, while Steering Wheel pointed ahead.

Kilimanjaro
The band carried its instruments and recording equipment to a cabin in Kentucky’s Red River Gorge and wrote and recorded five songs from scratch over one weekend. The singles, documentary and finished EP preserve that concentrated chapter.
